One of the most memorable trends seen on the SS18 runways, face jewels have made quite the statement this season in many a sparkly form. From rhinestones and gems to sequins, the high shine trend dominated beauty looks at Givenchy, Dries Van Noten and Jeremy Scott to name a few. Jumping from runway to red carpet, it seems that celebrities have also been bitten by the glitter bug, adding shimmer and glitter to their dresses with literal stars in their eyes.
Going the impossibly chic route was model Martha Hunt, who proved that if you’re going to do it you have to own it. And own it she did at the CFDA 2018 as she mesmerised with hypnotic Swarovski crystal-embellished eyes. To get the look makeup artist Georgi Sandev ditched the shimmery shadow for sparkly strass and we’re so glad he did.
