Entrepreneur Huda Kattan continues her quest for world domination with the launch of skincare-makeup hybrid GloWish

Since breaking into the beauty industry as a blogger over a decade ago, Huda Kattan has created an empire. She is the founder of makeup brand Huda Beauty and Wishful, a skincare line that launched last year. Now, the entrepreneur has married her passions for makeup and skincare to create her third brand, GloWish. Born from Huda’s desire to wear a no-makeup look on off-duty days, GloWish comprises skin-loving makeup that offers a more natural alternative to full glam and combines the beneficial ingredients from Wishful with the long-lasting, much-loved elements of Huda Beauty’s complexion products. “I thought, why does it have to be one or the other? If I don’t want to full glam, why is the only option no glam?! The Glo we borrowed from our Huda Beauty complexion and the Wish – that made our Wishful skin dreams come true,” Huda shared on Instagram.

With the news of GloWish came its first products: the Multidew Skin Tint and Soft Radiance Bronzing Powder. The Multidew Skin Tint is a waterproof tinted moisturiser infused with pearls that blur and brighten the complexion. Available in 13 shades, the transfer-proof formula boasts Ugly Red Pepper extract to protect against blue-light ageing; Damascus Rose Oil which moisturises, evens skin tone and reduces pigmentation; and oil-controlling, super-moisturising squalene to reduce fine lines. The Soft Radiance Bronzing Powder’s ingredients list is equally impressive, with shea butter, Vitamin E, squalene, Ugly Red Bell Pepper extract and Damascus Rose Oil working together to nourish the skin. A breathable, lighter alternative to full-on makeup is more than welcome as temperatures continue to soar; bonus points go to Huda for crafting a sweat-proof formula.

In line with Huda’s ongoing petition to make it compulsory for beauty brands to disclose whether social media advertisements have been retouched, Huda did not retouch any images featured in the GloWish campaign.
