Saudi social media star, beauty blogger and architect student Yara Alnamlah shows us how to emulate this uplifting beauty look
A heady wash of eye glitter in jubilant blues is a winter beauty staple – but, with a bit of thought, the look can work just as well on a summer’s night. Allow Yara Alnamlah to demonstrate just how to adapt the look for the weeks ahead. This month the Saudi social media star showcased her lockdown beauty look on her Instagram page @yaralnamlah, and it encouraged followers to drop the au naturel at-home look and instead reach back into beauty kits.
Alnamlah’s peacock look – which was created using a precise set of ten beauty products – gave off an elevated and uplifting vibe. The sparkling mix of light and deep blues in iridescent pigments are made suitable for summer when teamed with fresh, dewy skin and terracotta cheeks. She kept the look fresh and wearable with a soft charcoal mascara and while her brows were still perfectly on point, Alnamlah avoided dark filler and instead kept the overarching look soft. A smudged shade of baby blue below the eyes and just a pinch of glittered turquoise on top of the lid kept the look vibrant and fresh for summer.
