How To Channel Spring's Beauty Trends For Ramadan

It's all about natural this month

A fresh face and neutral nudes take over beauty looks for Ramadan this month

We’ve all heard the term “Less is more” and this month when it comes to Ramadan beauty it couldn’t be truer! Yes it’s time to strip your beauty regimen down and go back to basics. Think dewy fresh skin, neutral eye shades and pretty nude pouts. Need inspiration? The SS18 runways were awash with fresh-faced beauty looks that are perfect for those simple Ramadan days. Here are the ones you should be channeling if you’re looking to keep makeup natural during the holy month.

Porcelain Skin

Flawless skin took centre stage at Isabel Marant, Bottega Veneta and Issey Miyake. Follow their lead and ditch the bronzer for a simple tinted moisturiser that’ll do both tricks - keep you hydrated and avoid looking pale.

Teabag Eyes

It was all about sandy smoke eyes at Issey Miyake, Mila Schön, Preen. Think chestnut rather than brown and use a foundation shade like tan or toffee over lids to get the look.

Brushed Brows

Nothing contours the eyes like a pair of pretty 90s brows. The bushy look took focus at Tanya Taylor, No.21 and Roland Mouret. The trick to their fullness? A good brow gel applied using upward strokes.

Nude Pouts

What’s the secret to a polished natural look? Lived-in naked bare lips naturally! Balmain made the case for the fresh-faced pout, followed by Alexander Wang and Etro who also ditched bright colours for more muted demure hues.
