How To Fight Frizzy Hair

Some of us spend a lifetime fighting frizz, curls, grey, or flat hair. The Leonor Greyl brand has over 40 years expertise in haircare treatments and specialises in natural products. Caroline Greyl, second generation, exclusively tells MOJEH how to keep your hair in check.

  1. First, remove the excess water from your hair without rubbing it. Instead, roll it in a towel or a cotton cloth. Do not leave your hair wrapped in the towel too long as this can flatten it. Do not apply any product to the roots, it may make them heavy – unless it is a treatment like the Tonique hydratant. This very light formula coats the hair. The Mousse au Lotus volumatrice is also a good alternative if you are looking for more volume.
  2. For a sleek finish, apply a small amount of Sérum de Soie sublimateur on the lengths and ends if you have fine hair, or Éclat naturel cream if you have thick hair, before brushing into the required style. Repeat this once your hair is almost dry, adding a little more of the product.
  3. It’s sometimes difficult to achieve a really smooth finish as the moisture-laden air can make your hair swell, particularly at the beach. To avoid this problem, go for a ‘wavy’ look, emphasising the movement of the lengths and giving bounce to curls. Arm yourself with Algues et Fleurs sprays if you have fine and/or naturally curly hair, and Tonique hydratant if it is frizzy or kinky. Twist sections of hair around your fingers or braid them to form pretty curls.
  4. Finally, combine beauty and UV protection by opting for a tailor-made hair product! Several Leonor Greyl products offer this twofold benefit: Sérum de Soie sublimateurÉclat naturelLait LuminescenceMousse au Lotus volumatrice and Spray Structure naturelle.
