Peter Philips creates exclusive Dior Backstage beauty line

There was no better opportunity like the Dior Cruise 2019 show in Chantilly to release the highly anticipated Dior Backstage beauty collection. Models stepped out in minimal makeup, a natural look created to compliment the equestrian feel at Maria Grazia Chiuri’s fashion rodeo. The new line, which consists of two eye and brow palettes, a lip palette, face sculpting palette and highlighting palette, >comes inspired by the backstage world and designed by Peter Philips, creative and image director for Dior Makeup. “I redesigned all the indispensable items in my makeup bag, both for makeup artists and for every woman who wants a professional result with intuitive products and easy-to-use tools,” said Philips. “With Dior Backstage I want everyone to have access to my expertise.”

At the heart of the collection is the fluid, second-skin backstage face and body foundation, which comes in 40 universal shades to suit every skin tone. Hailed as Runway Proof, its waterproof formula is both heat and humidity resistant, promising to survive all hectic backstage conditions.

There are 16 different levels of intensity, boasting six unique and different undertones from rosy to olive and beige. The collection’s packaging is just as impressive as the products themselves; each comes housed in  transparent lightweight bottles for easy basic makeup.

The Dior Backstage Beauty line 2018 will launch officially on June 15.
