The world’s most famous models are getting ready to hit the catwalk for the annual lingerie show

Before the 2018 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show officially kicks off, both the models and Angels have to spend hours backstage in hair and makeup getting ready for the show. This year, models including Adriana Lima, Gigi Hadid, Bella Hadid, Kendall Jenner, Stella Maxwell, Elsa Hosk (who will be wearing this year’s million dollar fantasy bra), Georgia Fowler, and newcomer Winnie Harlow arrived at Pier 94 in New York where they let the professionals work their magic.

The 2018 glam squad includes lead hairstylist Anthony Turner, who is one of the most in-demand hairstylists in the fashion industry, and makeup artist Charlotte Tilbury, who is responsible for bringing her signature glam to the runway.

Judging by what we’ve seen so far, Turner is sticking to the Victoria’s Secret signature soft waves, which he created using a texturising spray and Conair hair styling tools. As for the makeup, the models this year appear to be sporting a subtle no makeup beauty look with a noticeable angelic glow and soft pink lips. As always, models backstage are dressed in an official VS robe, but in contrast to previous years the design for 2018 is all black and adorned with diamante detail.
