Charlotte Tilbury explains how to recreate Amal Clooney’s Met Gala makeup
Amal Clooney is always one to stun on the red carpet, her take on old world glamour is nothing short of flawless. And she proved that she could take her classic spin on beauty and make it dramatic for an avante grade event like the Met Gala 2018. The Lebanese stunner teamed up with celebrity makeup artist Charlotte Tilbury and the result was definitely showstopping. To complement her strapless Richard Quinn gown the duo went for a dazzlingly statement lip and flawless complexion. Tilbury started off with a clean base using her Multi-Miracle Glow followed by the Goddess Skin Clay Mask. The Charlotte’s Magic Cream created the perfect canvas for the Light Wonder Foundation which she followed by dotting Hollywood Flawless Filter in shade 2 along the cheekbones and high points of the face. Eyes were next, with NEW Bigger Brighter Eyes palette in Exagger-Eyes to widen and brighten, followed by an application of NEW Legendary Lashes Volume 2 mascara to both the top and bottom lashes to create a world-class Hollywood lash effect. For the most sumptuous looking pout Tilbury used a mix of her Hollywood Lips matte liquid lipstick in Screen Siren and Hollywood Lips matte liquid lipstick in Walk of Fame.
