Vivid colours illustrate the brand’s boundless creativity and were worn in the form of earrings, necklaces and bracelets, many of which featured richly brocaded arabesque motifs that gave a quiet nod to the Middle Eastern region. Kaleidoscopic stones formed majestic necklaces that audaciously reinterpreted the region’s preference of skill and sparkle.

The 18-karat pink or white gold, mother-of-pearl Lvcea timepiece boasts a plum-hued sky that hosts a delicately gilded moon, which is surrounded by a crown set with cabochon-cut pink stones and brilliant-cut diamonds. Harry Winston’s Avenue Classic Cherry Blossom wristwatch boasts an iridescent backdrop to a chaotic flurry of 39 white diamonds and 29 pink sapphires that represent the flower and petals that adorn a cherry blossom tree. The rectangular and ultra-feminine tableau is framed by an 18-karat white gold case, whose architecture echoes the stately stone facade of Winston’s historic Fifth Avenue Salon in New York, as well as the three arches surrounding the entrance.

Franck Muller’s Galet wristwatch takes inspiration from exactly what it was named after – Galet is the French word for ‘pebble’. Formed by the long-term erosive action of swirling and flowing water, Franck Muller were inspired by the simplicity, purity and smoothness of the modest river. An automatic movement and 42-hour power reserve is completed with a sun-stamped lacquered dial with black or white Arabic or Roman numerals. Who else has a sudden desire to visit Swiss countryside?
Wheat, or les bles in French, serves as the inspiration behind this high jewellery collection by Chanel. Born during the harvest period, Gabrielle ‘Coco’ Chanel’s childhood home was set against an agricultural backdrop. Diamonds, peridots, crystalline and acquamarines might not be what one usually associates with a farmer’s daughter, but then again, Chanel wasn’t the average French villager. Not one to forget her roots, her Parisian apartment was furnished with wheat in varying forms.

The pictured magnificent necklace is truly fit for European royalty, with a bold and vibrant yellow gemstone that evokes ray-kissed images of the sun king himself, Louis XIV.

Signed Patek Philippe, its dial is one of only two confirmed examples of the brand’s Nautilus model – designed by Gerald Genta - in stainless steel.
