The Hadid’s are continuing their catwalk takeover as they stormed the runway for Tod’s SS19

For spring/summer 2019, Tod’s decided to combine its men’s and women’s collections into one show, helping continue its evolution from accessory giant to well-versed Milanese fashion outfitter.

The brand enlisted Gigi, Bella and Anwar Hadid to help showcase its spring offering. Gigi opened the show in a pair of white shorts with a patchwork leather coat and backless snakeskin loafers before changing into a pink suit for her second look. Bella followed wearing a snakeskin jacket teamed with suede trousers before swapping into a chocolate brown leather bomber and shorts.

The rest of the runway was filled with leather jackets, suede suits, pops of electric blue and a few bold, colour-blocked sweaters in beige and blood orange. Neckerchiefs and aviator sunglasses added a high flying touch to the collection.

Sandwiched between two sections of women’s looks, the menswear story was dominated by shades of brown and saw Anwar Hadid gliding down the runway sporting a bleach blonde hairdo and a suede camel brown suit. Denim was also a key part of the men’s offering with blazers and jackets realised in the fabric. All looks were worn sockless with the famous Tod’s driving shoes.
