When it comes to shimmer and shine, Gigi Hadid knows how to rock molten metallic lids like it’s nobody’s business. The model proved that it’s all about solid gold as she stepped out for her 23rd birthday in a high octane 18 carat look. How to nail the luminous trend that was seen also on the SS18 runways at Jour Ne, Ryan Lo and Francesco Scognamiglio?
Makeup artist Erin Parsons revealed she used Maybelline’s Gold School Mono eyeshadow to get the model’s Midas look. Take a leaf out of Parsons’ beauty book and apply wet over the lid and inner corner of the eye. Next use gold glitter from your local craft store and add over a clear glitter glue exactly where you usually put your eyeshadow. Gently dab on with your fingertip and follow with a gold hexagon pailette added to the inner corners. With pretty blinding eyes, keep lips simple and to the point with a sweet nude shade that’s sure to make eyes pop.
