Dubai-based label L’Afshar, founded by Iranian handbag designer Lilian Afshar, has revealed a limited-edition bag dedicated to helping Covid-19 relief efforts.
Often seen on the arm of superstars including Celine Dion, Beyoncé, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley and Bella Hadid, Lilian Afshar’s perspex box bags and ultra-modern clutches have become a go-to Hollywood accessory. However, the regional label’s latest design is all about giving back to the global community.

A chic carrier with a cause, the new limited-edition bag — a purple-hued minaudiere named Sierra — symbolises spirituality, strength and passion, qualities that can help us all during a worldwide crisis. Proceeds from the Sierra purple bag will be donated to Doctors without Borders (MSF) and their Covid-19 Crisis Fund, a campaign* that L’Afshar happily supports.
