Italian designer, Salvatore Ferragamo created the wedge heel in 1936. Ferragamo was inspired to use cork and wood because of a leather and rubber shortage at the time. Giuseppe Zanotti draws from its legacy Italian influencer in bringing us this gold, white-trimmed wedge; channeling Ferragamo’s stylistic notes as well as its own Emilia-Romagna heritage.  Vintage Italian essence,  modern sensibility, stunning execution.
