Reflections, Prada’s capsule collection created for Ramadan and Eid Al-Fitr, stars Emirati creatives Afra Al Dhaheri and Fatima Al Ameemi

Prada has unveiled a capsule collection of ready-to-wear, accessories and shoes in celebration of Ramadan and Eid Al-Fitr, the former of which falls on 12 April. The campaign – titled Reflections – features Emirati artists Afra Al Dhaheri and Fatima Al Ameemi, who showcase the pieces we’ll be adding to our baskets immediately. Think: cut-out turtlenecks, pastel purses and luxurious desert hues. Shot by Greg Adamski, Reflections is set against a minimal yet impactful desert landscape with elements of modernity; an homage to Prada’s ever-evolving nature.

The Ramadan capsule collection features pieces from Prada Spring/Summer 2021 as well as much-loved accessories in brand-new colourways and specially designed shoes. The Prada Cleo has been re-designed in new colours – including the dreamy Desert Beige – and mules make their debut in pretty pastels, alongside elegant crystal-covered sandals ideal for iftars. Reflections also includes the patchwork Prada System and beloved Prada Re-Edition for those that don’t like to stray too far from the favourites.

If you’re looking to add pops of pastel to your wardrobe, you’re in luck. Candy-coloured scrunchies, sunnies and nostalgic hair clips are spring encapsulated and make an adorable addition to any outfit. Come Eid Al-Fitr celebrations, add some oomph to an all-black ensemble with a silver metallic mini-pouch and embellished heels perfect for (socially distanced) gatherings once the sun sets.

Shop the collection in Prada boutiques across the GCC and online at prada.com/ae
